Mission
Symfoku AS
“Make music relatable, fun & accessible”
We are offering up the marvels of classical music in a groudbraking way – at a fraction of the cost. What does it take to pull off a symphony? Well: an orchestra, a rather big venue, many highly specialized musicians, administration, and some serious money. Or how about: a few musicians or even just one, a charming little venue, easy coordination, and some spare time? This is what SYMFOKU does with burning passion, and we make it sound just great as well. We make your favourite piece of classical music fit your size, shape and budget.

His goal is to unravel an overseen potential of classical music and some of the world’s greatest works of art.
Narin Musayeva Folgerø
Narin Musayeva Folgerø has honed her violin skills through studies in Azerbaijan and Norway. She is to be heard and seen as a full time member of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK). Besides that, she is a passionate player of chamber music. In addition to the rich classical tradition of the violin, she has a particular interest in the poetry and folk music of her country of origin, Azerbaijan – a rich and beautiful tradition, yet unknown to most westerners.
Duo Folgerø
Duo Folgerø is expanding the classical music repertoire. In addition to traditional sonatas, they are able to perform symphonic literature as a duo. Their audience gets invited into the core of the masterworks. Their programmes highlight both similarities and differences between solo playing and orchestral sound. A fusion of the large and the small. By inviting colleagues along, they are able to re-create symphonies as trios – quartets – quintets. Just as a sculpture can be experienced from different angles, symphonies can be performed at different scales.
